Class 5 Force Reduction
This flooring system has force reduction of class 5 per the ASTM F2772 sports flooring standard. Class 5 represents flooring above 58%.
Vibration Reduction
This flooring system uses VERT shock pad technology to significantly reduce disruptive vibration. VERT shock pads dampen vibration 61% better than rebounded cushion pads, 53% better than closed cell foam, and 43% better than recycled rubber.

Vibration Reduction with VERT
By Mission V Sports, a patented engineered non-newtonian polymer pad applied to the bottom layer of the subfloor system. Available with all ClutchCourt VERT Series systems, the pads are designed to change their viscosity and flow behavior in response to pressure, helping dampen vibration in the floor while controlling the energy return to the athlete. Reducing shock before it enters the body is vital for an athlete’s performance. VERT pads offer enhanced stability and load-bearing capabilities.

Maple Grades
First Grade
First Grade Maple includes only boards that are free of any discoloration or distinguishing marks. This grade yields a court surface with the most visually uniformity.
Second and Better Grade
By far the most popular grade option, second and better grade maple creates an aesthetically unique court by blending some boards with visible grain marks and others that are unmarked.
Third Grade
Third grade maple is the least expensive of the ClutchCourt maple grades. A majority of the boards included in this grade have distinguishing marks and unique grains, creating a court with distinct character.

SmartEdge™ is a small 1/64” precision milled bead along the edge of each ClutchCourt maple plank. The design anticipates the forces humidity will cause and creates a built-in tolerance that absorbs the movement.
