Features Benefits Colors & Options

Performance Diagram The Performance Anchor Channel System is a patented fixed system with resilient channel inserts (made with recycled rubber) and no floating components. It offers a solid feel without compromising shock absorption. It also fairs well under rolling and static loads while at the same time creating more consistent game play and reducing “dead spots” related to slab profile. 4’ x 8’ panels provide a faster and more uniform installation compared to field constructed systems. This system is also available with a steel reinforcement called Performance Anchor Continuous Steel Channel, offering the same benefits with enhanced dimensional stability.

1 – Resilient Channel Insert: Similar to the plywood channel of the Peformance Anchor system, this channel adds stability by anchoring the system to the subfloor.  However, the resilient channel insert does not compromise shock absorption properties to the same degree as a solid plywood channel.

2 – Shock Pads: These 3/4" rubber shock pads provide comfort and shock absorption to the Performance Anchor Channel system. They are available in a variety of different constructions with different durometer measurements.

2 – Plywood: This layer consists of two 15/32” sheets of plywood, which offers a stable foundation for the system.

3 – Northern Maple: The surface of the Performance system is made of 25/32” or 33/32” Northern Maple from WD Flooring in Wisconsin, a MFMA maple flooring provider.

Maple Grades

  • Premium Grade Maple: Premium Maple includes only boards that are free of any discoloration or distinguishing marks. This grade yields a court surface with the most visually uniformity.
  • Second Grade Maple: By far the most popular grade option, Second Grade Maple creates an aesthetically unique court by blending some boards with visible grain marks and others that are unmarked.
  • Third Grade Maple: Third Grade Maple is the least expensive of the ClutchCourt maple grades. A majority of the boards included in this grade have distinguishing marks and unique grains, creating a court with distinct character.
