Tarkett Sports’ EcoPure linoleum is landmark achievement in sports flooring, bringing an all-natural, sustainable surface to school gymnasiums, recreation areas, and multipurpose rooms. This Cradle to Cradle® Silver certified floor can withstand extreme abrasion, never needs waxing, and is naturally resistant to bacteria. With EcoPure, there is no compromise between environmental responsibility and the practical benefits a Tarkett linoleum gym floor.

Features

Linoleum flooring has been around for over 100 years, but Tarkett Sports has rejuvenated this classic floor with innovations like the XF Finish, which eliminates waxing and increases abrasion resistance. Also, EcoPure 4.6 incorporates a foam backing, making it a category 1 shock absorbing floor (ASTM F2772). Thanks to Tarkett’s innovations with EcoPure sport flooring, linoleum is back and ready to play!

1. XF™ Finish: The surface of EcoPure is treated with Tarkett’s unique XF™ Finish, providing: high resistance to soiling and abrasion, up to a 30% reduction in maintenance costs, and up to a 50% reduction in water, chemicals, and energy used for maintenance.

2. Linoleum Core: EcoPure contains a pure linoleum core made with all-natural raw materials. These materials are naturally bacteriostatic, inhibiting the spread of bacteria.

3. Jute Underlayment: EcoPure incorporates a natural jute layer that provides structural support and strength.

4. Shock Absorbing Foam Backing: EcoPure 4.6 contains a foam backing for increased comfort and shock absorption (EcoPure 3.2 excludes foam backing).

Performance

EcoPure meets the standards of ball rebound, vertical deformation, and surface finish effect outlined in ASTM F2772 in relation to a point elastic flooring system. EcoPure 4.6 is classified as a category 1 shock absorbing floor according to the same standard. EcoPure 3.2 is ideally used as a surface for combination systems which can achieve high levels of shock absorption.
